Reagan's Dedication

On the May 9, 2009 our family and close friends shared with us in the dedication of Reagan. Some of you may be asking, what is a dedication? Well, in our church, instead of baptizing infants, we dedicate them. We believe that the Bible teaches that baptism is not a means by which you are saved, but is an outward sign of obedience for those that are old enough to make the decision to follow Jesus. The dedication ceremony basically just states that we, as believing parents, make a commitment before the Lord to submit our child to God's will and to raise that child according to God's Word and His ways.
